I love working here!
There's always a fantastic atmosphere and a
really good crowd – the beer isn't bad either!

We have had a number of guest ales over the last few months on our "Free of Tie" which enables us to offer ales outside of those supplied to us by Greene King.
Abv 3.8% Wheat & Rye
Time & Tide is one of Cliff Quay's occasional beers that is mid amber in colour with fresh hop flavour from the English Golding hops used. This beer is brewed with dark wheat and rye to give a gloriously complicated blend of flavours.
The brewery's home, the Cliff Quay Brewery, was the historic home of Tolly Cobbold and the Cobbold & Co brewery and is over 200 years old. Cliff Quay brewery is owned by Earl Soham Brewery but run as a seperate concern with Jeremy Moss – formerly of Wynchwood – as head brewer.
Abv 4.0% Amber Ale
Devon Dympsy is a pleasing malty, chestnut session ale from the Clearwater Brewery.
The brewery started brewing in January 1999 and is based in the building formerly occupied by St Giles in the Wood Brewery, Torrington.
Abv 3.8% Amber Ale
Moor Revival is a hoppy and refreshing amber coloured ale that was originally brewed to celebrate the revival of the Moor Brewery and now serves to revive the drinker. Brewed from a blend of 3 types of American hops and American yeast which provides a crisp finish..
Moor Revival has won a number of awards over the last few years including Silver Medal at the Maltings Beer Festival 2010, Bronze Medal Bristol Beer Festival 2010, 2009 CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain Finalist and Beer of the Year.
Abv 4.2% Full Bodied Ale
Phoenix is the resurrection of the Tolly Cobbold name. A full bodied, rich and smooth ale with a distinct balance of malts and ripe fruit flavours, and a hint of sweetness.
Tolly Cobbold Phoenix offers a full bodied malty taste with a lower abv than normal making this a favourite choice for when our regulars are looking for an ale to allow them to last out a session!
